Point of care medical technologies are bringing medical care into patients' homes. But it is not enough to put a wireless antenna on a blood pressure cuff and call it point of care health. In order to add value to the patient, it is critical that point of care technologies provide information and decision-level support not only to caregivers but also to patients and families.
